PVGD测试装置适用于燃料气体（如乙炔、丙烷、天然气和氢气）、氧气和压缩空气的回火抑制器测试。但是，不能使用 PVGD 测试装置测试回火阻力（即阻火器的功能）。该测试只能由回火抑制器的制造商进行。

The PVGD testing unit is suitable for testing flashback arrestors for fuel gases (such as Acetylene, Propane, natural gas and Hydrogen), Oxygen and compressed air. The flashback resistance however (i.e. the function of the flame arrestor) cannot be tested with the PVGD test unit. This test can only be carried out by the manufacturer of the flashback arrestor.
